Great School Holiday Activity in Methven

The Methven Scarecrow Trail is a school holiday activity for children, families, everyone.

There will be 33 scarecrows placed around Methven Village and people walking the trail pick up a Scarecrow Trail Map entry form and walk around the village finding the scarecrows and identifying the characters they represent.  

The theme for this year's scarecrows is: FAMOUS NURSERY RHYME CHARACTERS

There are prizes for the most correct answers and for the best scarecrow as voted by those taking part in the Trail.

This is a community not-for-profit activity and all proceeds this year go to the Methven Preschool.

Dates:        Commences: Saturday 20 April 10am
                   Ends: Saturday 4 May 2pm

Trail maps: Available at the Methven i-SITE Visitor Centre, 160 Main Street, Methven

                    Hours 9-5 weekdays, 10-3 weekends and Anzac day

Entry fee:   $5 per entry (your Trail Map is your entry form) and cash only
