Manager Dave Wilson said new snow would make conditions fantastic for the 2009 opening next Saturday May 30.
As well as the good base there were larger pockets of wind blown snow. The summit Six, Exhibition Quad and Magic Carpet lifts would be open.
“Forecast for the weekend is for over 50cm of new snow and cold temps throughout the week. Opening day will be subject to conditions throughout next week but they are looking very favourable,” he said.
