Helipark NZ is heli-accessed free riding in 380Ha of incredible backcountry terrain. You pick your own lines, you decide how many runs. We do safety and lunch. HeliPark NZ is an environment for free-skiers and riders to train or play in powder, and for photographers and teams to work in successfully. It's another world first for NZ.

What does it cost?

You buy the HeliPark NZ access pass for just $325. This gets you onto the mountain and includes your first run and lunch. Each run after that is just $75. Each time you get into the chopper for another run the HeliPark NZ guide clips your pass. You pay the total along with your bar tab and any lodge accommodation when you check out.

The Terrain

HeliPark NZ consists of 380Ha of incredible backcountry terrain. There are steep faces, chutes, rocks to drop off, cornices, wide open powder bowls and gullies. Nothing is groomed and access is entirely by helicopter. Clients are heli dropped onto one of five peaks for each run.

Location

HeliPark NZ is at Mt. Potts, near Methven. We used to cat-ski here but all those lines we couldn't access were starting to bother us. This is our solution.
